Torah: The Law of Love

An Introductory Letter

Beloved,

Welcome to "Torah: The Law of Love," a journey into the heart of YHVH’s commandments and their fulfillment in the teachings of Yeshua. This study is designed to move beyond surface-level understanding and into the depths of divine love, righteousness, and obedience. The Torah is not merely a list of rules; it is a revelation of the Father’s heart—guiding us into a life of holiness, wisdom, and peace as His children.

Our brother, Yeshua Himself, declared that all the Law and the Prophets hinge upon two great commandments:

1. Love the Most High with all your heart, soul, and mind.

2. Love your neighbor as yourself.

These two principles do not replace the Torah; rather, they illuminate its true purpose. Each commandment, from honoring the Sabbath to speaking truth, is a reflection of love—love that is active, faithful, and enduring. Our goal is not just to learn but to apply these truths, allowing them to shape our daily decisions and transform our hearts.

Throughout this course, you will engage in interactive reflection, prayerful self-examination, and practical application. You will explore:

How to keep your focus on the Most High in a world full of distractions and often, despair.

The spiritual and physical significance of each commandment.

The connection between Torah obedience and walking in love.

How Yeshua’s teachings uphold and clarify the law, rather than abolish it.

As you embark on this study, we encourage you to approach it with an open heart, seeking wisdom and revelation. May the Spirit of Truth guide you, and may you grow in love and obedience, reflecting the holiness and righteousness of our Creator. Prepare to go deeper. Prepare to be transformed.

May your study be fruitful, transformative, and full of His peace!

Shalom and many blessings,

Zion Heights
